I found an accent/dialect vlog where people are posting how they say certain words. I figured I'd play along...it's pretty funny!
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you change the TV channel with?
So now that you've heard me talk, it's your turn!!

10 Weeks Later....
***Update***
We ran our 5k this morning. It was 32 degrees and pouring down rain! It was a lot harder than we thought it would be because we didn't train on any hills and the entire course was hilly. The last hill resembled a mountain and it was very unpleasant. Our time was 39.15. I can't believe we did it! :)
Ten(ish) weeks ago I came across a blogger who was doing this program called Couch to 5k where you could supposedly go from being a couch potato to a 5k runner in nine weeks. I was intrigued and skeptical. I decided to tell Josh about it (just because I basically tell him everything) and of courseeee he wanted to do the program. I didn't want to do it. I don't like exercising (mainly because I am a wimp/quitter when I start to hurt) but he encouraged me to try it. So, we signed up for a 5k a few days later...because we figured that we should invest some money in it as a motivator. The first week was extremely difficult and we only had to run for a minute at a time. I have flat feet. Like almost totally. It is not fun to walk, much less run, when you have flat feet. I have no arches to support me. I got some orthodics ordered from Josh's mom's chiropractic office and that made it better. But I digress... Anyway, the second week we were running around campus at Campbell and I had a meltdown. I basically told Josh to go do it himself and that I was done etc etc etc. I used a few really mean choice words that I am not proud of. He encouraged me and I finished that run...and then I finished eight more weeks of runs. Now I can run (well, jog) 3.1 miles without stopping. This is a big deal for me. I am the person who hates exercising and quits as soon as it hurts. I am so proud that we completed the program and are running a 5k tomorrow. I will post the results some time later this weekend! And if you want to start running, trust me...you can do it! I hope I use this experience to realize that all things in life don't come easy...but most things that are worth doing aren't so easy to do most of the time. :)

So Glad You Were Born =)
A few years ago, I began to feel desperate about finding a boyfriend. It seemed like everyone was getting married or engaged and I started having mental images of myself at age fifty sitting alone in my house with 54346 cats. It was very disturbing. Things weren't made any better when I was single as could be and I received an email recommendation from Amazon called "Get Married...What Women Can Do to Make it Happen." Talk about a burn! HA. After a few months of stressing, I just decided that I would find the RIGHT someone when the time was right. So cliche, but it's true. I just stopped worrying about it.
Pretty soon after that, one of my favorite people from high school (he also happened to be my ex...(a whole other story)) called me on a January afternoon right after Jordan & I got out of Environmental Science to tell me about getting his identity stolen. It was the most random call...sometimes we still chatted on Instant Messenger but we weren't exactly on the "phone call level" anymore. We talked for about an hour that day. I felt myself start liking the boy a little. Of course, I would have never admitted it to anyone. It took me a couple of months to even admit it to myself. I should have known he was a keeper when I texted him and said I was sitting at home bored and alone on Valentine's night. He texted me back and told me that I had him. I sweetly replied HAHA. He's so persistent --- one of the MANY things I love about him. Anyway, we went on our second first date in March of 2009. The rest is history...
Let's just say I have had some pretty interesting relationships in the past. I knew right away that this one was different. We had a few rough moments, mostly due to the fact that we are the two most stubborn people on the planet....but my relationship with Josh has been so enriching in so many ways. By the summer of '09, I knew I could marry him. My mom always said that once I fell, I was gonna fall hard....yeah, she was right.
We have been inseparable for the past almost two years and I wouldn't have it any other way. Josh is the most loving, sweet, amazing person in the universe. I adore him. He has made me a stronger and better person and he's soooo encouraging. I just can't say enough about how wonderful he is, but he knows how I feel.
Happy 22nd Birthday, Baby! I love you!!
Got it Open!
After a couple of hours of messing with my email/passwords, I finally got into blogger! I thought I had lost my account forever! Stay tuned for posts soon!

Tired...[Warning: Whining Ahead]
The title says it all. I am so tired of school. It drives me nuts to be stuck somewhere that I don't wanna be. Funny thing is, it happens all the time. I'm ready for a change. I'm tired of sitting through group meetings that go nowhere. Tired of being given ridiculous assignments and busy work. Tired of sitting in class and wondering what in the hell the professor is talking about...and why I should care. I'm not the type who has ever been really gung ho about this whole college thing...but I'm officially over it. I'm tired of being away from the love of my life. Tired of idling around and counting down the days til the week, month, and semester are over. I am ready to feel some passion about my days.

Stream of Consciousness
I got this idea from a blog I read. Sometimes, it is fun to be random and just say whatever comes to mind. I remember doing this in my 11th grade English class and writing page after page in five minutes. I enjoy writing and even have a journal, but I don't keep up with it as much as I should. I have two finals tomorrow that I should probably be studying for right now. I have to make a 59 and a 62 to get A's in the classes, so I'm not feeling much motivation. After I take them, I will be a senior in college. Where has the time gone? I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I guess I better figure that out soon. I am really excited about my internship at ZBC this summer. I am going to be really busy. I just got my schedule for the first three weeks and it is jam packed. Some of the things I will be doing will be easy and very enjoyable for me. Others are going to be really hard and I am really going to have to step out of my comfort zone to get through them. I am thankful for the opportunity, though, and can't wait for it to begin! I am still cracking up over what happened with me and Jordan earlier. We decided we needed (wanted) some coffee and couldn't decide where to go. We narrowed it down to McDonald's for a frappe or Coffee Society right down the road. Neither one of us was making a decision...no surprise there...so I decided we were gonna write down our personal choices on a piece of paper and decide based on that. I wrote "whatever you pick" and she wrote "whatever you decide." HAHA that is so us...it cracks me up. I am looking forward to spending some time with my friends that I haven't seen in awhile this summer. Tomorrow marks mine and Josh's one year anniversary. It is incredible the things we have made it through. We have both matured so much during this year. He's one of my very best friends and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. God is so good! I am really far behind in the "you've got the time" thing where you listen for 28 minutes a day and hear the whole New Testament in forty days. I am still in Luke and should probably be in Philippians by now. I've gotta get back to it. I'm excited about going home for the summer but I can't believe how fast life is going by!!
