Monday - Worked all day...the most exciting part of my day was date night w/ my man when we did the most ridiculous thing...had LoYo (Dulce de Leche & White Chocolate Macademia with strawberries and kiwis, in case you were wondering)and then went straight to Starbucks. ADDICTS!
Tuesday was my 22nd birthday. I woke up to the most thoughtful gifts from JW. He got me a fan than plugs into your USB on your computer..perfect for when I'm sweatin' like a hog at work! He also gave me a bookmark and some car fresheners and a voucher for a trip to the beach complete with a trip to a seafood restaurant of my choice and a Dairy Queen run...does he know me or what?!!?! The rest of the day went really well too, despite the fact that I was at work all day. We met my parents in Wilson and had a wonderful bday dinner at Chilis. We shared my huge cake from Sam's with all of the staff...it was quite an interesting experience to have waiters come out of the kitchen with empty plates, but I was glad to share. Tuesday night as a birthday gift to myself, I bought some more goat milk soap (of course)...Am I really 22?!?!!
Wednesday: I got off work early and spent the entire afternoon looking for my credit card. Talk about stress. I never did find it.
Thursday: Worked all day, came back, ordered Mexican take-out, and went to bed at 9. What an exciting day.
Today: Worked til about 2...stoppped by Starbucks, came home, hung out with my dad, called Sam's about the fact that they sent Kellie the COMPLETE wrong laptop and ended up getting my mom a refund of about $60! Tonight I went to Piggly Wiggly and bought them out of shampoo for hygiene kits at church for operation inasmuch.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna mow the yard for my dad ifffffff I can get the lawn mower started.
In other news, I am starting grad school in 12 DAYS. I am sooooo nervous about going to ECU...It's so huge compared to what I'm used to!
If you read this whole thing, you're amazing!

Saturday
Today, I did a few of my favorite things:
1) I slept in (now that I'm in the real world, sleeping til 8:30 is a precious, rare treasure)
2) Ordered Kells' textbooks online (and saved my mom some money). I get a sick pleasure out of saving money.
3) Watched a movie and cuddled with my one&only :)
4) Bought some new school supplies (funny how I hate school, but love buying school supplies)
5)Went to Starbucks and got a Quad Iced Skinny Caramel Macchiato fo' free! (Thank you Sbux for sending me my free birthday drink postcard.) Starbucks and free. I hit the jackpot there today.
6)Went to Target (shopping w/ my sis/boy)
7) Dyed Kellie's hair (something I've been wanting to do forever, but I'm too chicken---so I'm living vicariously through her...and I love the outcome!)
8)Went to Trader Joe's (my all-time favorite store) and came home with lots of goodies.
9) Played several games of Uno...we've fallen in love with that game around here...
After a long week at work, it has been good to have a Saturday full of my favorite things and people. Hope your Saturday has been filled with your fave things! ♥

The first man a little girl falls in love with is her daddy♥
In honor of Father's Day, I thought I would write a post honoring my daddy.
My daddy is the best man I know! Growing up, he was the pitcher for our neighborhood kickball and baseball games. He made up ghost stories until we laughed so hard we cried. He came to every choir event, school event, church event, sports event, and anything else that we participated in. He is the most supportive, kind person ever. My daddy is also the FUNNIEST man alive. You really will never know unless you are close to him, but he was really blessed with the gift of cheering someone up when he/she is down. My daddy is my go-to person if I have had a bad day. He is absolutely hilarious. My daddy just knows how to always make everything okay. He knows me so well, and we are so alike in some ways it's scary.
Thank you daddy, for loving me unconditionally and always setting a wonderful example for me, Zack, & Kellie. ♥

"And That's What I'm Doin' These Days..."
Hey, blog world! It's time for an update.
1) I graduated from Campbell a few weeks ago! Where have the years gone? I don't feel old enough to be considered "grown up." Most of my friends have real jobs already. It's crazy how fast the years go by.
2) I was SO excited that I got into ECU for grad school this fall, despite the fact that I didn't think I would until next fall. I found out this past week though that I can only take 3 classes over the next two semesters that will actually count. That SUCKS! I am going to still be almost a year behind! I'm trying to think positively, but I was SO bummed when I found that out. I am having a roller coaster of emotions about it...
3)I'm currently working in Farmville at Josh's dad's business. It was supposed to be a week-long thing, but it is going to probably end up being about a month and a half. I have been working in Customer Retention trying to get doctors to keep ordering from their business. It is quite a jump from working zero hours to fifty! But, it's a good place to be and I get to hang out with Josh and ride bikes around Farmville after work to decompress from the day.
4)My sister is graduating from high school next weekend. I feel so OLD! I'm excited for her though.
That's all for now!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to discuss the heat! It is SOOOOO HOT. I need to head to Antarctica for the summer! :)

Random Thoughts...
I love lists, so that will be the form of my post tonight! Enjoy my pointless rambling!
1. I ordered my cap and gown today. $89 dollars later, I will be sporting a black gown with orange and a white sash celebrating being the 125th graduating class from Campbell University in a month and a half!!
2. I cannot believe I am graduating in a month and a half. It is an absolutely crazy thought! For the longest time, I thought this day might never come. And now, it's rapidly approaching!!!! I'm so ready to be done with this major.
3. Where oh where am I going after I get my undergrad degree. Right now, I really have four options I'm considering.
a--> Master's in Community Counseling from CU -- yeah, yeah...I know it's not my fave place but I am seriously considering a career in counseling and CU is the closest school for me. Also, the program is only 2 years.
b--> Joint Master's of Divinity/Master's in Counseling. -- if I chose this option, I could do Christian counseling (which would be awesome)! The MAJOR downside is that this program is 4 more years. Can I handle four more years of school?! Good question.
c--> Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from ECU. --this would be my most convenient choice since I plan on getting married sometime in the somewhat near future. With J in Farmville, it would be super-duper convenient to be in school ten miles away. However, the program sounds difficult and I've already passed the deadline for the fall. I don't know...I honestly haven't done enough research
d--> find a job in the Business world...doesn't sound too appealing to me!
4.The future scares me, so I try to avoid thinking about it. I can't do this anymore. The future is on the horizon.
5. I just finished writing an 11 page case study. I've been staring at the computer so long, my eyes are almost crossed. I think I'll sign off on that note!
Comment with what YOU could most see me doing in the near future!:)
Goodnight!

I Must Share.
...this amazing recipe for a frozen coffee drink. This is courtesy of Hungry Girl but I have tweaked it a little bit. It only has 3 grams of fat and is delicious. It has also helped me save tons of money since I usually spend at least $10 on coffee every week at Starbucks and occasionally Sheetz.
All you need is:
-2 packets of Truvia (or other no-cal sweetener)
-a pack of instant coffee (like Nescafe sticks) I use two packs because I like the extra coffee taste.
-1/4 cup of hot water
-1 tbsp of marzotti fat free caramel dip
-1/4 cup of milk (I use unsweetened almond milk -- DELICIOUS!)---also, to keep it healthier, you should only use skim, soy, or almond milk
-1 cup of sugarfree pudding (I've tried caramel, chocolate, and vanilla and in my opinion, the caramel tastes the best)
-ice
You mix the instant coffee, the caramel dip, the truvia, and the 1/4 cup of hot water together in a cup. In the blender, you add the milk, pudding, and I add some vanilla extract. Also, add the ice. I use about 15 cubes. Then, after mixing you add the mixture from the cup into the blender. Blend until mixed well. Pour into a cup. Add a little caramel on top and voila! Easy peasy and SO GOOD! :)
